Ladies bicycle Phillips Supreme, 1939

Made in Phillips Factory in Birmingham, England, in 1939. Frame serial number F34484.illustratsioon

Typical to women’s bicycles of English origin, its frame has straight down tube. Brakes also work by levers on the handlebar, but they do not operate on wheels (which would be a bad solution due to poor condition of roads here), but on coaster brakes (via rods).

This bike made specifically for Estonian market has chromed wheels and mudguards, and wheels for beaded edge tyres.

The bicycle has original paint, galvanics, and tyres, and is in perfect condition, because it remained hidden in a dry room for decades. Partially restored (including replacement of missing details) in 2010.
